Novalene Roberds

Novalene Roberds, age 78, of Vandalia, passed away November 19, 2021. She was born August 17, 1943 in Williamsburg, South Carolina to the late William and Lillian Tanner. In addition to her parents, Noval was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Tanner; and sisters: Vonita Coker, Margie Parker and Eunice Watson.

Noval is survived by her husband of 41 years, Laird Roberds; son, Keith Goudy; grandchildren: Faith Haney (Stephen) and Christopher Goudy (John); great-grandchildren: Zackary, Rylan, Lillian, Drystan, Lucas and Logan; brothers: Eric Tanner (Paula) and Danny Tanner (Ann); sisters: Nancy Stone (Larry) and Sharon Eaddy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Noval was a southern soul who loved her family more than anything in this world. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Noval was adored by all who met her.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. A service will follow in the mausoleum chapel at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Noval's memory to the Hospice of Dayton.
