Norman Eugene Tyree, age 89 of Jamestown, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Liberty Nursing Center.
He was born March 3, 1924 in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Thomas and Mary (Agee) Tyree.
He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma (Johnson) Tyree, a son Randy, and brothers: Earl, Raymond, Paul, Carl, Charles, Marion and Harry Tyree.
Norman was a farmer all his life, and was self-taught when it came to fixing things such as lawn mowers or cars. He really enjoyed "tinkering around" as he worked on many different items. Norman was retired from American Builders as a painter, and enjoyed his time spent with family.
He is survived by one sister Lois Rumbaugh and sons Wilbur Tyree, Richard (& Denise) Tyree, Rodger (& Connie) Tyree, Timothy (& Tammy) Tyree; daughters Debra Abels and Meshele Tyree, along with 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 26 from 10 AM- 12 Noon. Funeral service will be held at Noon, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH. Burial at Silvercreek Township Cemetery.
