Norman Lance

LANCE, Norman T., 73, of Huber Heights passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Jennie Lance; brother George Lance; sister Mildred Bolton; and daughter Cassie Barnes. Norman is survived by his wife Margaret "Peggy" Lance; sons Robert Lance, of Vandalia, Mike Lance, of Bradenton FL, and Kevin (Christine) Lance, of Huber Heights,; daughter Neva (Joe) Wilgus, of Yellow Springs; stepson Curtis (Renee) Salyers; step daughter Christine Milakovich; grandsons Wesley and Connor Lance, Arin, Micah, and Aden Wilgus, Rick, Jeff and Jared Barnes, Eric and Jeffrey Elam, Dylan Milakovich, Joseph Ward and Robert Salyers; granddaughters Deanna and Raelee Lance; great grandchildren Kaylee and Riley Elam; sister Lois Sherman; brother Richard Lance; brother-in-law Ray Bolton; numerous nieces, nephews, and family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service and with service in Vietnam. Norman was an avid outdoorsman. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Thursday October 16, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Pastor Marvin Engle will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday October 15, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
