Norman K. Ensley, 81, died peacefully Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born January 23, 1936 in Dayton, OH to Joseph and Beulah (Baker) Ensley. Norman was the devoted husband of Nancy Ann (Couch) Ensley. They were married on August 3, 1958 in Dayton, OH and were married 58 years.
Norman was a proud and avid member of the National Muzzle Loaders and Rifle Association for 40 years, and was also a proud member of the Brookville Masonic Lodge #596 and the Scottish Rite. He was a black belt in Taekwondo, enjoyed engraving his black powder guns and miscellaneous items for his family and friends. He had a love for woodworking and made so many different items, to many to mention. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids, and will be greatly missed by all.
Norman is survived by his wife; two daughters, Julie Young and Anna (Eric) Crowell; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Eric Jr., Ashley, Amanda, Alexandria, Olivia and Robert; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Joanne Cetone and Marilyn (Dave) Miles. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Ensley.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March, 26 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
