Norma Zimmerman

Norma Jean Zimmerman (née Karl), of Kettering passed away on Sunday May 31. She is survived by her devoted husband Jerry "Jug" Zimmerman, her children Jill Bolan (James), Beth Bentley (Charles), Chuck Zimmerman (Leacia Brilliant), Jim Zimmerman and Jerry Zimmerman Jr (Cathy). She also is survived by 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her daughter Margie Olcott (Dan) preceded her in death.

Norma grew up on Xenia Avenue and attended Holy Family elementary school, she graduated from Julienne high school. She was a faithful member of St. Charles Catholic Church on David Road. Norma loved her family and enjoyed playing cards, watching Reds baseball and just being with her many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also had a giving heart and continually helped those in need.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 5, 2015 at St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of Dayton. Her quiet spirit and kind demeanor will be missed.
