Norma Sue Taylor

August 18, 1937 — November 16, 2021

Norma Sue Taylor, age 84 of Beavercreek, OH went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at her residence. She was born on August 18, 1937 in Kennett, Missouri to Conard and Bessie (Wills) Brown. She married James D. Taylor on April 18, 1958 in Kennett, MO, and he preceded her in death.

Norma graduated from Caruth High School in Caruth, MO where she played basketball. She loved children and babysat family and friends children regularly. Norma enjoyed crocheting and made the best chicken and dumplings in the world. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, always filling her heart with joy. Norma was member of the Kettering Baptist Church, volunteered at the Air Force Museum and was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Connie (Thomas) Di Nino; a son, James Michael Taylor; three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brad) Schroeder, John (Jenn) Di Nino and TJ (Jackie) Di Nino; five great grandchildren, Ethan and Alex Schroeder, Hayden Di Nino and Calvin and Sammy Di Nino; a sister, Teresa (Tommy) Tate; a brother, Ronnie (Joanie) Brown; and other numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, James D. Taylor; two sisters, Peggy Hill and Roberta Champ; five brothers, Willard, Wayne, Burly, Jim and Frank Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Norma's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Norma will be laid to rest after services with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
