Norma Sue Schalnat, age 89 of Dayton, OH, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017, and was born May 17, 1928 in Ft. Loramie, OH.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; survivors include her four daughters, Barbara (Scott) Miller, Terri (Jerry) Updike, Mary Ann (Joe) Creps, Chris (Mike) Spurlino; a son, Chuck (Lisa) Wehrman; a sister, Doris Barlage; she is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a step son, Roger (Terry) Schalnat and their family. Also preceding her in death were brothers Wilfred, Robert, Frederick and Nicholas and sisters, Helen, Jeanette, Martha and Eileen.
A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens and no visitation will be held at the request of the family.
