Murphy, Norma L., age 87, of Kettering, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. She was born November 7, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Russell & Della Dale. She was a 1945 graduate of Stivers High School and had a 29 year career at WPAFB. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: John T. "Jack" Murphy.
Norma is survived by her daughter: Colleen (Robert) Murphy; sister: Selma Merrick; niece: Karen (Randy) Zuercher; great nephew: Brian (Meghan) Zuercher; great niece: Christine Zuercher; grandchildren: Nicolle (Billy) McEvoy & Ray (Sarah) Olson. Norma had a long and happy life, sharing good times with family and friends.
Graveside services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, in memory of Norma. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel.
