Norma L. Cummings

Cummings, Norma L., age 71, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010. Norma was preceded in death by her parents: Theodore & Essie (Burton) Brewster; sister: Dema Brewster; brothers: Virthel & Vernon Brewster; and a son: Anthony Moore. She is survived by her sons: Stephen Thompson & William "Nick" Moore; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters: Bessie "Sylvia" Daws & Barbara (Joe) Olekas; brother: Charles (Norma) Brewster; special caregivers: Louis, Debbie, Tammy; and numerous other family members and friends. Norma retired from GE Financial Services, attended Eastmont Freewill Baptist Church and was a great American Patriot. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering with Pastor Mike Daniel officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until time of service. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Eastmont Freewill Baptist Church in memory of Norma.
