Norma J. "Jene" Brooks
Age 76, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at Heartland of Hillsboro after a two week stay.
Jene was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, John Brooks.
She is survived by one step-son, Jim Brooks of Bellefontaine, Ohio; nephews, Leo Reaver, Dale Nonnenman, John Delaberta & Bobby Nonnenman; nieces, Etheline (& husband, Robert) Ankeney & Rose Ankeney, all of Dayton, and Carmella (& husband, Joe) Biscoe of Hillsboro; seven great; eleven great great and two great great great nieces and nephews including her "jewel" Rachael.
Jene was a member of the Way of the Cross Church. She was always a very loving aunt.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Pastor William Loudermilk will officiate. Interment will follow at Willowview Cemetery.
