Age 73, of New Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2006, after a brief illness with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Austin (Bo) Cox, her brother, Richard Puthoff and her parents Ralph and Margaret Puthoff.
Norma is survived by her husband, Harvey Estridge; her sons and their wives, Ralph (Carla), David (Marcia) and Mark (Sandi) Cox; her daughter and son-in-law, Julia (Wayne) Meddock; grandchildren, Ashley, Dylan, Connor & Austin Cox and Jarrod Meddock; her brother, Robert (Dorothy) Puthoff; life-long friend, Karyle (Tom) Dillhoff; and by numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her step-children, Larry (Ellen) and Allen Estridge and Karen (Hillard) Branham; several step grandchildren, Amber, David, Alicia, Danny, Hillary, Holden, Landon, Logan, Shannon, Sierra and Dereck; and by step great grandchildren, Olyvia, Haylie, Ty and Cade.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. David Brinkmoeller Saturday, October 14, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road, Riverside. The family will be receiving friends Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
In lieu of flowers contributions be made in memory of Norma to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
