Norma Jean Baker

Baker, Norma Jean (Burns), age 75, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Norma was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 24, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Irene Johnston; her husbands: Don Burns and Walter Baker. She was employed by the University of Dayton and Frigidaire. She is survived by her sons: Don Burns Jr., Michael Burns; daughter: Beverly Smith; brother: Ray Johnston; sister: Pauline Bertolo; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until time of services.
