Norma "June" Jackson, of Riverside, Ohio, passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 90, due to complications from congestive heart failure and diabetes.
June was born on December 22, 1932, in Cookeville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford M. Jackson; parents, Haskell and Avo Smith; five brothers, Willis, Hulon, Flavious, Bill and Bud Smith; and sons-in-law, John Flippo and Paul Stanbery.
She is survived by three daughters, Connie Flippo, Patricia Stanbery and Barbara (Robert) Leach; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Dean Pipkin; and many nieces and nephews.
June retired from Kettering Hospital, in Accounts Payable. At 40 years old, she went to college and received an Accounting Degree. Knowing the importance of higher education, she assisted her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren while they attended college. She was a faithful member of Haynes St. Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
