Norma J. Gary

Norma Jean Gary (Zickefoose) age 90, of Cedarville, formerly of Bellbrook, OH passed away peacefully on September 4, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones at home. Norma was born in Queens, West Virginia on September 21, 1930. "She is the sweetest lady" was often said when people would describe Norma. If one could measure the "sweetness" of a person, Norma would be the gold standard. She loved the Lord dearly which was evident by the fruit from her life. Whenever you left Norma's home you left happy, grateful and stuffed! Through consistency, faith, and love she leaves behind a legacy that will continue to be passed down to generations to come.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Parley and Carrie Zickefoose, 14 older siblings, and her son Douglas Gary. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thomas Gary; daughter Jill (Dino) Hughes; granddaughters Jennifer (Mike) Del-Rio, Cherie (Jack) Pranaitis, Stacey (Brian) Updyke, Katie (Tim) Kracus, Abby (Brandon) Pippin, Mattie (Tom) Stock, and Maggie (Camden) Bonardi; as well as 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Fairhaven Church, 637 East Whipp Road, Centerville, Ohio 45459. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am at the church. Norma will be laid to rest at David's Cemetery following the services.
