Norma Jean Fuller, age 92, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2023. She was born on October 30, 1930 to the late Charles and Esther Poff.
She was an avid bowler who rolled a 299 game. She was very competitive and athletic. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and she absolutely loved babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time with them and spoiling them with candy was one of her favorite things to do. Norma Jean was often caught feeding the birds and squirrels, but she loved to be outside and around people.
In addition to her parents, Norma Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wade Fuller Jr.; and three of her brothers and one of her sisters.
She will be remembered by her children: Darlene (Kurt) Blanton, Glenn (Peggy Morgan) Fuller, and Gordon (Vicki) Fuller; grandchildren: Rhonda, Leighann, Jill, Brianna, Ashley, Glenn Jr., and Brett; many great-grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Shrout and brother, Melvin Poff; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Newcomer North Chapel, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Following the service, Norma Jean will be laid to rest with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery.
