Norma Jean Ferris, age 69, of Huber Heights, passed away on November 9, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on November 26, 1950, the daughter of the late Sidney and Joyce Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Donna Black, Frieda Garrison, Glenda Scott, Sidney Scott and Peggy Joyce Scott.
Norma is survived by her beloved husband, Mike Ferris; her children, Joseph M. (Nancy) Ferris, Emily (Michael) Kemp and Stacey (Chuck) McKenzie; grandchildren, Andrew, Evelyn and Estelle; siblings, Shirley Seale, Robert Scott and William Scott; and many other loving family and friends.
She retired from Lowe's Home Improvement, after 15 years of employment. In her free time, she enjoyed sharing her love of art with those around her, cooking, ceramics, gardening and spending time with her family. Norma adored the time spent with family and friends, she never knew a stranger. Her faith was something she held very dear and she would share her love of Christ with all whom she came in contact with.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm, on Monday, November 16, 2020, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, at 10:00am, at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
