Fass, Norah White age 83, of Beavercreek, passed away April 22, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Warrington, England on May 6, 1934 to the late Peter and Edith (Jenks) Laff. Norah emigrated to the United States with her first husband John White in the early 1950s.
Norah loved working at Bergamo with her best friend Barbara Murray. She volunteered at St. Luke Church. She was also a hostess for several years at Bill Knapp Restaurant in Beavercreek.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband John White; brother Bernard Laff; and sister Irene Moran.
Norah is survived by her husband Col.Franklin Fass (USAF ret); daughter Delores (Thomas) Schmid, son John (Susan) White, daughter Debora (Jim) Barker and Karen (Doug) Barney step-daughters Maurie (Mark) Cofman and Rebecca (Luke) Lovich; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Maureen and Edith in England; her little Pom Roddy; as well as many other family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church in Dayton on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery in the afternoon.
