Nora L. Myers

MYERS, Nora Louise Petrey Wax (Lou), born Feb. 18, 1925 in Williamsburg, KY to the late James W. Petrey and Nona E. Brown Petrey. Preceded in death by husbands, Charles W. Myers, James R. Wax; brother Phillip Petrey; sister, Margie Petrey; son, Michael C. Wax; granddaughters, Tina L. Borondy and Renee L. Combs. She is survived by sister, Evelyn R. Denny of Kettering; brother, William Petrey of CT; sons, James K. Wax of Chillicothe, William R. (Ruth) Wax of Bellbrook, Roger D. (Diane) Wax of Miamisburg, Edward G. Wax of Sebastopol, CA, Kenneth (Joan) Myers of London, England; daughters, Patricia Napier of Miamisburg, Debbi Spriggs of West Carrollton; granddaughters, Jacquelyn R. Wax - whom she raised, and 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. She was formerly employed at Inland Div. of G.M., was a member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church, and Eastern Star, Jacob Eby Chapter. She was a gifted gardener, loved reading the Bible, and playing Rummy. Nora enjoyed arts and crafts, had a deep love of birds and other animals, and loved to get away to Lake Waynoka whenever she could. Funeral services will at 10:00am Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Moraine Heights Baptist Church, 5661 Munger Rd. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Monday, April 21, 2008 at the church. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
