September 20, 1918 — July 16, 2015
Deakins, Nora age 96, of Kettering, Ohio ended her journey here on earth July 16 to be with her Lord and Savior.
Born Sept. 20, 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester and three sisters, Ada, Bertie and Mable.
She is survived by her daughter, Delores (Ted) Beachdell; granddaughter, Teri and great-granddaughter, Whitney Stanley. Longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church on East 3rd Street where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years.
The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek. Funeral services at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Jim Riggle and Chaplin Kevin Wardlaw. Entombment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
