Noah Collins
Age 85, of Medway, passed away Friday, January 19, 2007. He was born January 2, 1922 in Lackey, Kentucky to Monroe & Prudie (Slone) Collins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Chuck and Clinton Collins.
Noah is survived by his wife of the past 61 years, Helen (Bradley) Collins; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki & Jim Miller and Kim & Joe Alexander; one son and daughter-in-law, Sheril & Ayse Collins; 13 grandchildren, Paul, Phillip, Mike, Tracy, Robert, Jayson, Michelle, Josh, Stephanie, Shannon, Jamie, Orchin and Askin; five great grandchildren, Tylor, Madison, Anna, Jimmy and Rowen; two brothers, Leon and Scotty Collins; and by three sisters, Opal Ream, Jean Brink and Mary Lou Baldridge.
Noah was a member of the Local Carpenters Union # 104 for over 50 years. During WW II he served his country in the U. S. Army.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Medway Cemetery.
