Nita Geer-Weisberg

Nita Dawn Geer-Weisberg, a loving mother, sister and partner in life, age 50 of Dayton, passed away August 15, 2017 at 4:15 pm at her home. She was born January 30, 1967 in Dayton to the late Charles Wesley Geer, Sr. and Laura Ann Bolen-Geer.

Nita is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Laura Weisberg-Tucker and her husband, Shane; son, Thomas Anthony Geer-Garcia of Tucson, AZ, who was adopted out at age 5; her great partner of 17 years, William "Bill" Burt; brothers: Charles Wesley Geer, II and Robert Wayne Geer, both of Dayton, and Jeffery Matthew Geer of Tucson, AZ; nieces and nephews: Jason and Sara Geer, Danielle and Pablo Santiago, Leilani and Glenn Hyatt, Amanda and Robert Thompson, Laura and Dan Ballweg, Eric Sr. and Teya Geer and Little Charles W. Geer, III. Nita was a great aunt to many others and she will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Nita's memory to any Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center; she had a great passion to help those with addiction come clean.
