Nikki B.L. Smith, age 76 of Englewood, reunited with her husband, Samuel Smith on June 24, 2018. She was born September 1, 1941 in Coal City (Beckley), WV to the late Charles and Margaret (Sutphin) Burdiss.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Christina DeFrance, Melissa DeFrance and Sandra (Daryl) Spencer-Stephens; grandchildren, Joshua DeFrance, Dailaquon Young, Quincy S. Rackley, Javontay Stephens, De'auja Stephens, De'aujane' Stephens, Kailyn Davis and J'Vion C. McKinney; brother-in-law, Charles Smith; extended family and friends.
Nikki was a proud hardworking homemaker and raised her family with love. She was an artist, wonderful cook, enjoyed crocheting and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Nikki may have left West Virginia but she never stopped loving her home state. She enjoyed being outdoors and had a passion for bird watching.
A Celebration of Nikki and Samuel's Life will be held from 4-8 PM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Ray's Wine Spirits Grill, 8268 N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415.
