Nick Tackis

TACKIS, Nick D. age 26, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mabel and John Tackis and Hazel and Tom Reel; and uncle, Tommy Reel. He is survived by his mother, Janet Humphrey; father, Duane Tackis; sisters, Laura and Stephanie Tackis; son, Dominick Paoli-Tackis, born February 7, 2008; girlfriend, Becca Paoli; aunt Deidre Lucas; uncle, Brad Reel; and numerous friends. Nick was baptized at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kettering, OH. Visitation will be held 5-8PM Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10AM Friday February 29, 2008 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E. Stroop Rd. in Kettering. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
