Nick Alan Carter

February 10, 1955 — November 20, 2016

Nick A Carter, age 61 of Vandalia, passed away peacefully on November 20,2016. Nick was born in Greene County to the late Mary and Howard Carter. He worked for many years at Amity and Diamond Tool and Die. He grew up in Alpha, Ohio and graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1973.

Nick was a loyal Cincinnati Red's and Bengal's fan. Nick was a loving, caring, and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Nick leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Della Carter; sons, Kevin (Amanda) Carter and Scott (Chelsea) Carter; grandson, Cameron Carter; step-sons, Chris, Heath, and Shawn; cousin, Steve Turner; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of Nick's life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 6pm. The family will greet friends and loved ones for two hours prior (4pm-6pm). An Urn burial will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 at 12pm at Beaver Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nick's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
