Nicholas Aaron Plunkett

Plunkett, Nicholas A. "Nick" age 23, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 9, 1997 to Todd L. and Michelle R. Plunkett (Layne).

Nick is survived by his parents, Michelle R. and Todd L. Plunkett; sister, Kelsey M. (Jacob) Baldwin; brother, Brett A. Plunkett; nephew, Everett Baldwin; grandparents, Jean & Milton Plunkett and Wanda Layne; three aunts, Sherry Cottle, Vicky Torch, and Melanie Pompili; uncle, Rob (Megan) Plunkett; close friends, Mitchell and Sarah Colvin and their family; special friends, Andrew, Caleb, Maddie, Kayla, Sam, Shelby, Taylor, and Rachel; and a host of other family members and friends.

We have been blessed for 23 years with the most wonderful son. He brought so much joy and so many smiles to our family and is the love of our lives. He was sensitive and went out of his way to call or FaceTime his mom and dad most days. While his sister Kelsey has lived out of state for the past 4 years, Nick stayed in touch with her and was so very proud to now be an uncle to his first nephew, Everett. He was looking forward to being around him now as Kelsey has moved home. He was very proud of his younger brother Brett and always encouraged him. He shared in Brett's excitement for his future plans. They were truly brothers. We are so proud of him and his accomplishments in life and most of all for simply who he was as a person and son. He will always be tremendously loved and he shared his love his family and friends. We miss him so dearly and look forward to seeing him again someday.

Nick especially loved his two dogs Chloe and Simba, being sure to greet them both the moment he walked in the door.

Nick really enjoyed spending time with his friends. They were a special group of people to Nick who became close friends while working together at Ritter's during high school. They were often at our house spending time with one another enjoying each other's company. Nick also was talented at creating music on his computer and playing his keyboard. Nick graduated with a business degree in finance from Wright State University in 2020. Upon graduation Nick began working full time for Wenzler Capital Management and really enjoyed the projects he was working on and the people with whom he worked. At work he was described as very bright and an avid learner of new subjects who was always enjoyable to be around and brightened everyone's day.

In recent years Nick's family traveled to see many new places that Nick truly enjoyed and the family will forever treasure those trips and time with Nick.
