Niada Lynn Hornback

Niada Lynn Hornback, age 68 of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was born on April 19, 1954 in Elkins, West Virginia to the late Roy and Beverly Sheets. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael H. Hornback; two brothers, Bill and Martin Sheets; and her sister, Juanita Sheets.

Niada is survived by her daughter, Ja'me (Jason) Clark; two grandsons, Gage (Haylie) Smith and Evan Clark; and a great-granddaughter, Teagan Oakley Smith. She is also survived by numerous friends and extended family members. 

Niada served as a correctional officer for 30 years and loved her work friends and family. She enjoyed cooking and baking, watching wrestling, and watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers. The most important thing to Niada was her family and she loved her cat, Abbie. Niada was incredibly special to everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
