Newman Sheldon

SHELDON, Newman H. Rev., age 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 1, 2007 at Berkley Square of Hamilton following complications from a stroke. He was born September 1, 1924. A Nazarene pastor for over 50 years, he is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Sheldon and brothers Ralph and Owen Sheldon. Newman is survived by his daughter Lois (Terry) Vollmer; son David (Jenifer) Sheldon; five grandchildren Jennifer, Kevin, Evan, Brenna, and Jane; many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 4701 Far Hills Rd. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday June 5, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow services at Springdale Cemetery in Riley Township.
