Scott, Nevil Lynn, age 76, of West Carrollton, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Nevil retired from the Street Department with the City of West Carrollton.
Nevil is survived by his wife of 54 years: Ann A. (Crump) Scott; son: Timothy Scott; daughter and son-in-law: Marcia (Jeff) Bullock; grandchildren: Justin Scott, Zach & Kyle Wertz; great grandchildren: Gavin Scott, Gabriel & Hunter Wertz; siblings: Dovie, Harold, Martha, Liz & Sylvia; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie & Adeline (Carter) Scott; brother: William and sister: Lillie.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Wayne Woody officiating. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Riverview Baptist Church, 215 S. Riverview Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342 in memory of Nevil.
