JONES, Nettie A.
age 82 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Nettie was born January 24, 1922, in Cleaton KY, the daughter of James and Emma Edwards. She was affectionately called the Goodwill Ambassador of the Miami Valley Senior Care Center and touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Junice Orf, Shelby Ann (William) Deal, John (Janie) Hamilton, Darlene Bishop, Margaret (John), Robert Hamilton, Stella Gibson; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Nettie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville Jones; children, Patrick and Richard Hamilton; sister, Maggie; and brothers, Floyd, Bert, and Jim Jr. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with entombment following in Calvary Cemetery.
