Nettie Mae Johnson

Johnson, Nettie Mae, 88, of Dayton, passed away October 25, 2016. Nettie was born November 18, 1927 in Woodbine, KY to the late Richard Hale and Minnie Belle (Herren) Martin. Nettie married the love of her life, Winford Guy Johnson on December 13, 1947. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and care giver. Nettie was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Winford Guy Johnson, son, Wendell Johnson, brothers, Howard, Lacy, Almond, Leonard, Reed and Ubert Martin, sisters, Rudell, Maggie, Mellie, and Ann Martin. She is survived by her children, Lynville (Donna) Johnson, Richard (Jane) Johnson, Mark (Constance) Johnson, Marsha Johnson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 10am until 11am Friday, October 28, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road, where service will follow at 11am. Burial at David's Cemetery.
