Nerita Kay Steinke

Nerita Kay (Johnson) Steinke, age 80 of Alexandria, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at Bethany Lutheran Village. She was born March 30, 1940 in Tipton, Indiana the daughter of the late James and Beatrice (Samuels) Johnson.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. Steinke; sons, Matthew Miller, Shawn Steinke and Eric Steinke; and several siblings.
Nerita is survived by her children, Launda McGrady, Deborah (Robert) Lalich, Janet Steinke, Scott Miller, Brian Steinke, Doug Steinke (Kathryn) Steinke; sister, Doreen (Mike) King; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; along with numerous family and friends.
She attended services at the Apostolics of Xenia Church. Nerita loved her family dearly and enjoyed gospel music.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Apostolics of Xenia (978 US Route 42 South, Xenia, Ohio 45385), where family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday after the service at Hawk Cemetery in Yorktown, Indiana.
