Nelson Wright

Nelson F. Wright, Jr., age 71 of Dayton, passed away November 4, 2010 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 16, 1939 in Dayton to the late Nelson Wright and Edith Baver.

Nelson is survived by his wife of 37 years, Della; 5 children: Debbie Meddock, Peggy Smith, Scott Wright (Celeste), Todd Wright (Marta) and Sean Wright; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.

Nelson worked at General Motors, where he retired after 30 years of service and was a volunteer firefighter with Madison Twp. Fire Dept.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
