Neil Allen Schaeffer

Neil Allen Schaeffer was born on June 26,1938 in Piqua, Ohio to Wilbur and Frances Schaeffer. He was a graduate of Piqua High School and proudly served with the Army in France.
He had a myriad of jobs from sales to being vice president of Tasker Oil and eventually retiring from RTA. He met his lovely bride of 43 years, Louise while at Tasker Oil.
He had a great passion for motorcycles, Ohio State Football and family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Frances Schaeffer and his sister, Brenda Jacomet.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; his children, Scott (John Frey), Nachelle and Todd Schaeffer; step children, Pamela (Mike Clymer) Stanley, Jeff (Gail)Chambers, Mark (Wanda) Chambers, Penny (Kevin) Chandler; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 2 nephews, Aaron and Adam Jacomet.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Neil's honor.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:00 am at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
