Brooks, Ned M., age 90, of Riverside, passed away February 10, 2015. He was born February 14, 1924 in Blakely, GA, son of the late Clyde and Annie Brooks.
Ned is survived by his sons, Michael (Madonna) Brooks and Douglas Brooks; step-son, Darryl McNamara; sister-in-law, Jonnie Cooke; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until the time of the funeral at 12:30 pm on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432.
Immediately following there will be a procession to Dayton National Cemetery for committal services and Military Honors.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
