Neal M. Stampler, age 61 of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022. He was born May 30, 1960 in Buffalo, New York the son of Sheldon and Marsha Stampler.
Neal worked for Mahle for 25 years and previously worked for Rikes Department Store in downtown Dayton. He graduated from Stivers-Patterson Co-op class of 1979 and attended Wright State University where he studied film making and photography. While there he enjoyed fencing; eventually becoming a coach. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, the Reds, and the Ohio State football team. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a strong supporter of the Fraternal Order of Police. Neal was an animal lover and a history and movie buff. Neal always had a smile on his face and was devoted to his family; they will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and niece, Carla Reynolds.
Neal is survived by his siblings, Alanna Sage, Lynn (Lloyd) McIntosh, Helene (Steve) Buckner, Reid Stampler & Rochelle (Dan) Shepherd; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many long time friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 12, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
