Neal Lawson
June 23, 1924 — June 18, 2013
Neal M Lawson, age 88 of Dayton, OH passed away at home June 18, 2013. He was born to the late Frank and Eura Lawson in Boyd, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife of 53 years June Lawson; 6 brothers and sisters; and granddaughter Brooke.
He is survived by his children, Neal Lawson, Ron Lawson, Marvin (Anthony Andalft) Lawson, June Shinlever, Julie Lawson; and a slew of grandchild, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister Christine McPherson; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Neal proudly served the United States in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from General Motors and Montgomery County Job and Family Services.
He was a passionate Cincinnati Reds fan, horse racing enthusiast, and an avid Ohio Lottery player. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
