Nazareth (Nazita) Mayra Marin, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She was born in Colon, Panama on March 14, 1945, the daughter of the late Joaquin Marin and Carmen Z. Castillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Maxwell; sister-in-law, Gloria; and nephew, J.J.
Nazareth is survived by her loving children, Zita (Gary) Moore, Anita (Scott) Highland, Ronald Phillips, George (Shawna) Phillips and Larry Phillips; 14 grandchildren: Ashley (Tony), Andrew, Allison, Cody (Kelcey), Jacob (Jordan), Taylor, Justin (Destiny), Corey, Kyle, Abigail, Halie (Vonne), Alex, Madison and Lucas; 16 great grandchildren: Marley, Landon, Mason, Myra, Myles, Jayce, Mia, Makai, Moses, Carmen, Nola, Emma, Roman, Cooper and Summer; siblings, George Marin, Jose Marin and Zonia Gibson and numerous other family members, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Nazareth was known for her generosity and opening her home to those in need. She loved her family and she was best known for her spaghetti, black beans and rice & she was the Master of making pancakes. She loved BINGO, going to the beach, shopping at T.J. Maxx and watching her soaps...but Nazita never got her drivers license!
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm, on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Service will begin at 3:00pm.
Nazita's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
