Nathaniel Bush

BUSH, Nathaniel, Age 74, of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2005, following a lengthy illness. Nate was born on May 30, 1931, in Macon, MS, to the late George and Mattie Bush. He moved to Dayton in 1955 and was employed at the Montgomery County Water Division for 30 years before retiring in 1983. Preceded in death are his parents, his only brother, George Bush, Jr., and a sister, Lula Mae Wright. He is survived by his dear wife, Mary (Gavin) Bush of 53 years as of November 23, 2005 (the date of Nate's departure); four loving children, Princess Stevenson (Kelvin) of Oklahoma City, OK; Barbara J. Bush; Audrey Bush and Nathaniel Bush, Jr., all of Dayton, OH; seven grandchildren, Bettina Bush; Nicole Richards (Gary); Aaron Stevenson (Tyragee); Tyson Bush; Daniel Stevenson (Noemi); Charles Franklin and Nathan Bush; and seven sisters, Mary Ivey, Hattie Owens, Danella Buckhalter (Sam), Ruth Bush (RB), Bessie Gunn, Edna Bush (Robert), and Mattie Wright. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 1, 2005, at Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church, 3701 Salem Avenue, Dayton, OH, at 11:00 a.m., with Eld. Donald Edwards officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Burial in West Memory Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton Chapel.
