Nathan Ryan Nickell

Nathan Ryan Nickell, age 25, of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly November 23, 2023. He was born September 28, 1998 in Dayton, Ohio. Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents: A.C. Nickell, Gary Shafer, Bobby Wright and Debbie Petry.

Nathan is survived by his parents: Joseph Nickell, Nicole Adkins (Tom Graves) and Jackson (Terri) Shafer; beloved grandmother, Linda Nickell; grandparents: Debbie Wright (Joe Charlenbois), Robyn Shafer and Jean Shafer; brothers and sisters: Taylor Shafer, Paige Shafer, Shaden Shafer, Raylind Shafer, Shelby Ross, Brittney Reames, and Savannah Graves; nephew and niece, Jayden and Aryanna; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Nathan was an employee with Proctor and Gamble. He loved football, always rooting for the Bengals, but most of all he loved coaching his nephew, Jayden Mack. Nathan loved listening to and writing music, playing video games, cooking, animals and the ocean. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. Nathan loved spending time with his family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10-11am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424. The memorial service will follow at 11am. Nathan will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton.
