Natalie Szczurek

Szczurek, Natalie, age 18, of Brecksville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Natalie is survived by her parents: Tom & Vickie (Dodds) Szczurek; brother: Nathan Szczurek; maternal grandparents: Jack & Helen Dodds; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Eugene & Anne Szczurek.

Natalie was a senior at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and various other school organizations. She also served as a student intern at the Brecksville City Hall. Natalie was accepted at Denison University for the Fall of 2012 with a Pre-Law academic pursuit and she was a member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church. She had many interests including music (avid fan of Paramore) and animals, especially her cherished guinea pig, Mandy.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Interment will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Northeast Ohio SPCA, 9555 Brookpark Road, Parma, Ohio 44129 in memory of Natalie.
