Quiroz, Narciso, age 95 of Dayton passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006. Having immigrated from Aringay, La Union, Philippines in 1931, he was a US Army veteran of WWII, past member of the Leukemia Society of Dayton, Life Member of the American Legion Post 613, member of the Philippine American Society of Dayton, Vandalia Sister Cities, St. Mary Catholic Church, Victoria Theater Volunteer, resident of Lakewood Apartments, and retired from Royal Crest Dairy. He was preceded in death by his wives: Howilla Smart Quiroz and Mary Cook Quiroz. He is survived by 2 sisters: Catalina Stelo of Aringay, Phil. and Ellen Arbas of Manila, Phil., a stepson David Cook and wife Betty of Dayton, 2 stepdaughters, Vickie Cook and husband Jose Garcia of Dayton, and Mary Ann Riley of Amesville, OH; six grandchildren: Robin and Sarah Cook, Michael, Brian and Chris Riley, and Ileana Garcia, and many beloved inlaws, nieces, nephews and cousins around the world. There will be no visitation. A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 21st at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 310 Allen St., Dayton.
