Nancy A. Werling (Baker), age 81 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 17, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on February 26, 1939 in South Charleston, Ohio to the late Floyd and Lucille Baker.
Nancy was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Nancy had a infectious smile that lit up the room. Nancy was a graduate with Training as an LPN from Patterson CO-OP High School. She loved caring for people and had a enjoyable career. She loved spending time with her family and every time she seen her grandchildren and great-grandchildren she just lit up with joy. After retirement Nancy loved spending her time outdoors camping with family. Nancy loved to address her kids as her only daughter, first born son, and baby boy. And it wouldn't be right, not to mention her love for chocolate and ice-cream.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Baker; grandson, Nicholas Werling; and beloved fur baby Katy Kay.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Gene Werling; children, Mary Jo Severt, Bob Werling, and Chris Werling; grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Christopher (fiancé Kayla), Rebecca (fiancé Max); great-grandchildren, Hailey, Dominic, Anslee, and Callieann; brother and sister-in-law Ron and Judy Baker, and sister-in-law Gail Baker; along with other family members and friends.
Due to our current environment surrounding the Corona virus, services for Nancy will be private. Thank you for understanding during this challenging time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Nancy's honor to Hospice of Dayton.
