Nancy Thompson, 64 years of age, passed on Sunday May 17th, 2020 at Sycamore Medical Center surrounded by her beloved family.
Nancy was born January 6, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Paul and Corinne Waid. She was the third of four sisters and graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in 1974. Nancy married William Thompson in 1977 and raised two children with him, relocating to Washington Court House, Ohio in 1987. She worked for Advest, Inc. in Washington Court House for many years.
Nancy leaves behind a husband, William Thompson, children, Paul (Ashlee) Thompson, Pamela (Walter) Chandler, and four loving grandchildren, Luke, James, Adeline, and Jasmine. She also was preceded in death by her sister Sue (Joseph) Groom and leaves behind two sisters, Barbara (Michael) Irish, and Peggy (Stephen) Rowe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a dedicated mother, first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. Nancy had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and was loved by all.
At this time, no services will be held. Nancy wished to spend eternity on the lake, so her ashes will be spread at Wilbur lake in Eganville, Ontario, Canada at a later date.
