Nancy Terranova

Nancy R. Terranova, age 81 of Kettering, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born September 28, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Frederick and Winifred Blocher.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Blocher.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 63 years, J. Ed Terranova; sons, Ron (Lisa) Terranova and Mike (Kristen) Terranova and grandchildren, Sarah, Eric, Coleman and Owen.

Nancy was a 1954 graduate of Fairmont High School and obtained her associate degree in accounting at Sinclair Community College in Dayton. She dedicated the majority of her life caring for her family as a wife, mother and homemaker.

Nancy was an avid volunteer at Cox Arboretum and later for the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps. She enjoyed organic gardening and growing wildflowers as well as the precious moments she shared with her family and grandchildren.

Family will receive guests from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday, July 9, 2018 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dayton. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm also at the church and officiated by Pastor John Mittermaier. Memorial contributions may be made to Cox Arboretum at 6733 N.
