Nancy Sue Takacs

Nancy Sue Takacs, age 52, of Princeton, IN, passed away on August 15, 2022. She was born January 7, 1970 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Curtis and Marilyn Lucas.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Lucas; her husband, Timothy Takacs; step-mom, Betty Lucas; great- nephew, Chase Damron; great-niece, Abigail Suann Ball; and two beloved dogs: Toby and Waylon.

She is survived by her father, Curt Lucas; brother, Jeff (Debbie) Lucas; step-brother: Mike (Kristie) Rayburn; step-sister: Kim (Jeremiah) Lear; uncle: Les Sullivan; nephews, Jason Lucas, and Justin and Dalton Rayburn; nieces: Amy (Walter) Davis, Jessica (RJ) Ball, and Ashley (Mike) Blevins, and Alizabeth Lear; sister-in-law, Karen Stacy; great-nephews: Justin, Wesley, Sean, Colt, and Wyatt; great-nieces: Haley, Makinsey, and Avery; great-great niece: Skylar; great-great nephew: Jayden; as well as her two dogs, Luke and AJ, and many other loved family and friends.

Nancy enjoyed remodeling and doing home projects, cooking, and hosting parties for her family- including all the graduation parties. She loved anything car related, such as going to car shows, races, or watching NASCAR. Nancy loved nothing more than her family and the time she spent with them. If you have a show or antique car, please feel free to drive it to the service to honor Nancy's love of cars.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm, officiated by Pastor Scott Barger and Pastor Rick Smith. There will be a dinner after the service, location to be determined.
