Nancy Kay Strank

Nancy "Kay" Strank, age 78 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Patriot Ridge Community. She was born December 8, 1940 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania the daughter of John and Peggy Roberts.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Strank; brother, Bobby John Roberts; son, Robert J. Strank; step-son, Arthur E. Strank; granddaughter, Kristie M. Smith and step-grandson, Brad Strank.

Kay is survived by her four daughters, Susan M. (Michael) Smith, Deborah D. (James Parker) Gwin, Lisa L. (Eric) Denlinger, Priscilla A. (Don) Wiggins; step-sons, James E. (Judy) Strank, Edward A. (Cris) Strank; step-daughters, Rae Lynn (Bob) Allen, Beverly J. (Michael) Vomvas and Gerri A. (Dale) Bolen; sisters, Barbara A. (Chuck) Black, Linda S. Williams; Brother, James W. (Debbie) Roberts; 35 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and special friends.

She retired after doing medical records at long-term care facilities for many years. Her and her husband, Robert, fostered many children.

Kay enjoyed sewing and knitting hats for her great grandchildren and those in need. She also enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends at Patriot Ridge.

She was a member of Xenia First Church of the Nazarene.

Kay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and will be dearly missed. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Patriot Ridge Community for all the love and care they have provided for Kay and her family.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 noon on Tuesday June 11, 2019 at Xenia First Church of the Nazarene 1204 W. Second St, Xenia, OH 45385 where the funeral will begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow the ceremony at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH.
