Nancy Sue Sauer

Nancy Sue Sauer, age 85, of Centerville, passed away May 21, 2022. She was born December 6, 1936 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Oved and Lois (Smith) Burch. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Sauer and son Michael Sauer.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Robin (Wayne) Sears; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Sauer; her grandchildren Mark (Samantha) Reedy, Thomas Sauer, Krystal Sears, Mallory (Shane) Darrow; her great-grandchildren Kiarah, Luca, Eli, Graham and Deon; along with her brother Philip (Jackie) Burch; her sister Glenda Butler and other loved ones and friends.

Nancy graduated from Stivers High School, Class of 1955. She married Leroy Sauer in 1958 and went on to work as a school crossing guard and then a Kettering School bus driver for 28 years.

Nancy loved shopping, and eating out with friends from school and the bus garage. She also loved to read, and enjoyed collecting and making baskets as well as painting wooden Santa figures.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 9:30 am until time of service at 10:30 am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
