Nancy Marie Prouty

Nancy Marie Prouty, age 91, of Kettering, passed away on May 19, 2022. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 21, 1930, the daughter of the late John and Maude Compton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Ralph Prouty and Gene Young; her siblings, Herbert Compton, John Compton and Priscilla Compton; her son-in-law, William Arden; and her daughter-in-law, Vicki Mason.

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Larry Mason, Kristi Arden and Jay (Sheri) Prouty; grandchildren, Jennifer (Patrick) Hoban, Rob (Mikki) Mason, Jamie (Christy) Mason, Bryan (Jodi) Prouty and Brad Prouty; great grandchildren, Leyanna, Steven, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Tiera Shae , Robbie, Riley, Thomas, Owen, Andrew and Abby; great great grandchildren, Mason, Lyla, Audrey, Gabriel and Walter; niece, Judy Sutter; and many other loving family and friends.

Nancy worked for many years as a Secretary, retiring from McGohan Brabender. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, reading and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am. Burial will be at Valley View Memorial Gardens.

Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
