Nancy A. Phelps, age 78 of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born October 10, 1939 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late William and Harriet George.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandchild, Ashley Smith; brother, Robert George.
Nancy is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Chris (David) Mesker, Cindy (Glen) Siemer, Kelly (Jay) Kelly, Anita (Stephen) Douglas; grandchildren, Carrie Frazier, Jason Siemer, Erin Macleod, Brett Siemer, David Smith, Brycen Smith, Ricky Mesker, Kyle Siemer, Thomas Gilliam, Matthew Gilliam, Gary Gilliam; sister, Sharon (Paul) Cleveland; brother, Ronald George; as well as 8 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Nancy was a veteran of the United States Air Force. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 4 pm to 5 pm at Christian Life Center (3489 Little York Road, Dayton, Ohio 45414). A Celebration of Life will begin at 5 pm. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery with military honors, will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton in Nancy's memory.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Dayton National Cemetery at 2 pm with military honors.
