Nancy Lee Molen passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward A. Molen; daughter, Tina Molen and her husband Jason Thomas; son, Edward A. Molen and his wife Jacki Molen; Grandson, Gunnar Molen and his wife Kelcee Molen, and great grandson, Isaac Thomas Molen.
Nancy was a graduate of Colonel White High School, Dayton OH, class of 1959 where she was a member of the school orchestra, marching band, concert band, and choir. She remained very active in community music during her lifetime as a member of The First Baptist Church of Dayton Choir, Bell Choir, and Brass Ensemble. She also participated as a member of German Sauerkraut Band of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Greene County Community Band.
Nancy retired from Dayton Public Schools after a career as a Manager in the Food Service Department. After retirement, she went on to serve as the morning manager at McDonald's in Beavercreek, OH.
In 1998, Nancy was the First Lady of the Antioch Shrine Center in Dayton, OH and helped to celebrate the Shrine's 100th year anniversary. She was also a member of Bara Court, Ladies Oriental Shrine, and Daughters of the Nile.
Her hobbies included cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, and cooking.
Nancy offered unwavering support to her husband in their many endeavors together.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 6, from 6pm – 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432
